Worn, damaged or under-inflated tyres are a real danger on the road. We supply, fit and balance tyres to suit every budget, from standard essentials right up to premium brands, and quote before anything is ordered.
No payment taken online. Or call 01522 710000.

It depends on the tyre, not the garage. The size printed on your sidewall (something like 205/55 R16 91V) decides which tyres fit, and within that size there is usually a budget option, a mid-range option and a premium brand at quite different prices. Speed and load ratings, run-flat construction and how many you need all move the figure too.
So rather than put a number on this page that will not be right for your car, we quote for your tyres. Book online with your reg, or call or message us with the size, and we will tell you what fits, what each option costs fitted and balanced, and honestly which we would choose for how you drive. Nothing is ordered or paid for until you say yes, and work over £250 can be spread with 0% finance.
The legal minimum tread depth in the UK is 1.6mm across the central three-quarters of the tyre, all the way round. Below that you risk a fine of up to £2,500 and three penalty points per tyre, and a tyre that is close to the limit is already losing grip in the wet. A 20p coin is a quick check: if the outer band of the coin shows above the tread, the tyre needs looking at.
Other signs it is time to come and see us:
Every tyre we fit is balanced on the wheel before it goes back on the car, so you do not get a shake through the steering at speed. While the wheel is off, the technician looks at the brakes and the other tyres and tells you how much life is left in them, with no obligation.
Uneven wear usually means the wheels are out of alignment, and new tyres will wear the same way unless that is fixed, so we may suggest a wheel alignment check at the same time. If you have a puncture in the tread area rather than the sidewall or shoulder, a repair may be a cheaper option than a new tyre, and we will tell you if it is.
All new tyres sold in the UK meet the same legal standard, so a budget tyre is safe. Where premium brands earn their price is in wet braking, noise, fuel economy and how long they last, which matters more the further and faster you drive. For a small car doing short trips around Lincoln, a mid-range or essentials tyre is often the sensible choice. For a heavy car, a van or a lot of motorway miles, a premium tyre tends to pay for itself. We fit all of them, so we have no reason to push you towards one.
Tell us your tyre size when you book so the tyres are here for your slot. Fitting and balancing is a short job and you are welcome to wait at the workshop on Pioneer Way, or we can arrange a courtesy car or collection and delivery if the car is in for other work as well.
We are an approved HiQ Tyres and Autocare centre, audited every year, and a DVSA MOT station, so we see every day what worn tyres do to a test result. Our technicians fit tyres on all makes and models, cars and vans up to 3.5 tonnes, at Unit 1, Pioneer Business Park, Lincoln LN6 3DH. Any repair we carry out is guaranteed for at least 12 months, and we quote before any work starts.
Plenty of drivers are unsure when their tyres should be replaced. Pop in and we will give you impartial advice, with no obligation. If you do need new ones, we quote before any work starts.
